New “Family Life Groups” at FPCL
Would you like to get involved and connected at church with a small group of friends who meet outside of events already scheduled at church? It’s a wonderful way to meet more families within the church and make long-lasting connections.
Here are the new groups so far:
Intergenerational Fellowship – Interests are family-oriented, with social gatherings all over the community like rotating pot luck dinners, bowling night, camping weekends, and movie nights. Now known as the Black Pearls. Contact Jane at

. They meet on the 4th Saturday of the month (but subject to flexibility as needed for particular events).
Edible Garden Group - gardeners who grow some of their own vegetables and fruit, invite like-minded people to join, as well as those interested to learn. They have monthly "open" garden days or evenings where they'll visit one another's gardens, share ideas and discuss problems. They'll have an occasional healthful potluck that is more plant based, featuring legumes, more vegetables and whole grains (not necessarily vegetarian) and desserts based on fruit and/or dairy products. If you missed the Livermore Farmers’ Market on Thursdays, get your produce in the courtyard on Sundays while simultaneously contributing something to the debt reduction fund. The vegetables are tasty, freshly picked, organic and most convenient to just pick up before you go home. (The Edible Garden Group invites everyone who has extra produce to add it to our table!)
